Scissor Sisters: American Pop for Export

       The foundations for the American group Scissor Sisters were laid in 2001, when vocalist Jake Shears teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Babydaddy while they were attending the same college in Kentucky. Later, after moving to New York, the duo met Ana Matronic at a Halloween party, and soon the group started putting on concerts. Some time later Scissor Sisters added Del Marquis and Paddy Boom to their lineup and became a quintet.
